SHC Staff Alumni Picnic

  • Reconnect with fellow staff alumni

  • Re-live memories from your days on staff

  • Tour the new facilities at Sandy Hill and Eagle Point

  • Share a pasta bar dinner (plus the lovely, lovely salad bar) with old friends

  • Enjoy the pool, waterfront, and ropes course (weather permitting)

Spouses, significant others and children are welcome to join too!

Cost per person:
(please note that we are just trying to cover the costs of the food and staff for the day)
$19 ages 10 and up, $13 ages 3-9, 2 and under free

Tentative Schedule

  • 1:00 - 2:00 PM Arrival - park near archery, check-in at the new Lighthouse Center

  • 1:30 - 5:00 PM Activity Areas Open
    *requires sign-up upon arrival, spaces may be limited

    • Waterfront - banana boat*, pontoon boat tours*, paddlesports (canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards)

    • Ropes Course - zipline*

    • Pool

    • Camp store & game room

    • Outdoor Sports: gaga, basketball, tetherball, sand volleyball, lawn games

    • Gym: basketball & volleyball

    • Self-guided tours

  • 5:15 - 6:45 PM Dinner - buffet-style pasta bar and salad bar

  • 6:45 - 8:00 PM - Group photo and campfire program

  • 8:00 - 8:45 PM - Optional hang out time at campfire roasting s’mores

Details and FAQs

  • Who is eligible to attend?
    All SHC staff alumni from 1997 through 2024 who are in good standing. Staff alumni may also bring their spouses, significant others, and children. Please note that current 2024 staff that are already at camp should register via your Staff Home Page.

  • How do I register?
    Click here to register using EventBrite if you are not a current 2024 staff member. 2024 Staff Members should register via their Staff Home Page.

  • Can I spend the night?
    Unfortunately, there will not be any overnight accommodations available on-site since we have an event on Saturday and two retreat groups arriving on Monday morning.
